Sky High Thrills with High Limit Baccarat

First Web brings you a cool game that's made in the shade. High Limit Baccarat, designed by the folks at Microgaming, will get you going in a classy game of luck, odds, and skill. It's the same game that James Bond played in the original Casino Royale story. Now, it's yours for the taking.

High Limit Baccarat - No Limits on Fun

In High Limit Baccarat, you play a fun and thrilling game with the Banker. Of course, you can bet on the Banker winning if you want, so you're not really playing against him. The odds are good and you can win a nice stash of cool cash if you play your cards right. Here's how it works:

The Steps to Baccarat Fortune

Real money Baccarat is usually played using eight standard decks of 52 cards, each of which are shuffled after every game. You can bet on either yourself (the "player"), the Banker, or you can bet that the player and Banker's hand will tie. That is the rarest but gives you the best odds.

What's the point?

The main aim of the game is to predict whose hand (either the Banker's or your's), will be closest to the value of nine. If the cards add up above nine, you just lose the last digit - in other words, tens and face cards mean nothing in this game. Winning hands in High Limit Internet Baccarat are determined by the hand you bet on, and whether or not that hand wins.

How High Are the High Limits?

As mentioned, in internet Baccarat you can bet on either your hand, the banker's hand, or no hand (a tie). There are no other options, one hand has to be closer to nine or the two must be tied. If you bet on the Banker's hand (with the best advantage) and the hand wins, you win double your bet, less the standard five percent house "commission." If you bet on the player's hand, you just double your money. Slightly harder odds, but a slightly better payout.

Who Wins Determines. Who Wins!

The main aim of the game is to predict whose hand (either the Banker's or your's), will be closest to the value of nine. If the cards add up above nine, you just lose the last digit - in other words, tens and face cards mean nothing in this game. Winning hands in High Limit Baccarat are determined by the hand you bet on, and whether or not that hand wins.

Who Says That a Tie is No Fun?

Almost anywhere else, ties are boring. No one wants a tie. Yet in High Limit baccarat, if you bet on a tie and win, you win big. How big? You win eight times your bet! If you bet $100 on a tie, you now have $800. Not bad for a "no-win" situation, right? Now if you didn't bet on the tie, and there is one - no worry. The bet is a push, and you get all your money back. Bottom line, ties are good. You just can't lose when there is a tie.
