My First Casino Fever Introduction

Once upon a time, about 20 years ago, I was invited on a cruise with my boyfriend at the time. The cruise was only for 3 hours and the main thing on it was the casino. My boyfriend and I went into the casino and he gave me some money to play. I saw a particular slot machine that was flirting with me and clearly wanted to pay me money. This was the first casino slot machine to come on to me so strongly. As we, the video slot machine and I, stared at each other and I felt the energy and chemistry between us and thought that it was mutual; I put money into its slot. I won and lost at this machine, but in the end, lost all of my money and needed more. I went over to where my boyfriend was, playing blackjack and winning and asked for some more money, since I hadn't taken any. He gave me some money, but the slot machine was hungry and ate it all. As my first casino fever began to take over my life, I glanced at my machine who was still flashing lights and begging me to play it and knew the big payout was going to come very soon now.

My First Casino Fever and the Boyfriend

I returned to my boyfriend and asked him for more money, which he gave to me. However, the machine was being frugal and still was not ready to pay out the jackpot, but I still knew it would be soon. As the first casino fever overtook me, I went back to my boyfriend to get more money, however now my boyfriend too had decided to become frugal with me. As this first casino fever overtook me, I left the casino and my boyfriend and went onto the deck to cry, since I knew that someone else would get my money from the machine. When finally my boyfriend came out, and I had calmed down and realized it was only the first casino fever that had overtook me and that I needed to be more careful since now I had passed the first casino fever that I could be apt to catching it again. Since that time, I only take my own money into casinos and play only what I can afford to lose; so I guess this first casino fever experience taught me some important lessons.
